What's a good laptop for college and gaming?

I plan on buying a new laptop for college, but i also want a laptop that can support gaming decently (doesnt have to be amazing ). I'm extremely disappointed my current laptop can't handle games, but i still put more emphasis on the college part, so any recommendations would be much appreciated, thank you!

I feel macbook pro's are overhyped and overpriced. Open to all suggestions though.
