I'm going to college in the city, (NY), and I asked my parents to buy me a laptop for my graduation gift. I need to pick one out. I'll be in pre-law, and a lot of English classes, which means a ton of writing. I'm thinking of a Mac, because although it's for school, I would like it for personal use too. I like the music, picture, video programs in a computer. BUT the problems might come when converting the mac wriing apps to the school computers that are regular windows. The price does not matter. But quality does. Any advice?
