best laptop for interior design student image

I'm an interior design student, n i've been using dell inspiron630m for 3 years.by the end of da year, my laptop is giving me problems so i plan to buy new one.i want to knw if HP is good.I knw dat dell has good battery power, want to kne if HP too has da same. coz one of my friend had HP n it wud work for mere 3-4 hours witout charger.pls help me out in this.
btw. im from dubai.

If u r looking 4 design, then probably HP is second behind Apple in the curves race. It otherwise is a reasonable notebook, if u consider the price and performance.

what is the best computer for AutoCad Architecture?

I'm a first year interior design student and i currently have a macbook pro, which i love, but they do not offer the version if AutoCad that i need for MacBooks. I need to get the Architecture version. I need to know what the best affordable laptop, or if i should get a tablet, or if if there is a way to get this version on to macbook. hard drive space is not a huge deal because i plan on saving everything to an external hard drive. Im completely lost when in come to computers so any help would be greatly appreciated thank you!

It's seems like you ask this question everyday and you never choose a best answer! what is the point in wasting our time?
You would need more then 2gb ram as you're Architectural building get bigger the more ram you use! this all have to be render from lights walls objects etc has to be calculated the more things you have in you're building the long it well take to render.
If you only have the internet and exterior walls then it will take unless time to render. so i would go for about 6gb and add more ram when needed.
You cannot use a table with a 3d program only with a 2d like Photoshop. if you're gonna make you're textures in photoshop then i would go for a tablet if not then knock that on the head
