What type of computer should I get for college?

I am going to college and am majoring in International Business and I want to know what computer would be the best... I am interested in Macs but am flexible. I also like to play games so I would need something that would have a lot of memory and stuff.

No help in picking a specific laptop, but help in picking a brand:
Avoid HP/Compaq, Gateway, and Acer. They have had the worst record
for reliability for the last 2+ years. Asus, Toshiba, and Sony Vaio

I'm going to college in a few months and I need a laptop that is durable. My laptop is going to be my life (so says a lot of college students). I need a fast laptop that won't give me a headache. Any recommendations on brands and specifically which laptop from that brand? Please and thank you :]
