What is a good gaming laptop for a student?

I enjoy playing Starcraft2 but do not have the privilege of running the in-game settings in ULTRA with my current computer. So, I am looking for a laptop that can run Starcraft2 effortlessly and is able to tend to my college needs. Please also consider price, as I do not really wanna go over $1000, but will bitterly consider it as needed. Also, nothing Alienware, as I know they're super expensive.

What is the best laptop to buy that is under $400 dollars?

I am a high school student and really need a laptop. Is there any good ones under $400? any suggestions on stores to go to or brands to get? and how is the brand Lenovo for a laptop?

Lenovo has a lot of consumer complaints, so I would not recommend that

And I have owned a number of HP products over the years, and their
quality is very poor.

I have always had good luck with Sony, and Sony has a couple of VAIO
models under $400 that are excellent. They are available just about anywhere, but Walmart seems to have the best prices. You can buy them
online, but beware: some online companies sell refurbished computers really cheap and don't
make it clear that it's not new.
Also, just make sure that you don't sacrifice performance for price. A cheap
computer may not have all the features, such as speed, or memory, that
you really need. It's sometimes worth spending a little more to make sure
that it can run all the programs and have the reliability that you want.
