Which laptop should I get for freshman year of college?

Yeah, so basically I'm going to be a freshman at Indiana University this fall and need to get a new laptop. I have a biology major and am aiming for medical school. I was just wondering which laptop brand and model is the best for my field of study. I've done some research online, but I'm still pretty skeptical. Thanks for the help.

I'll be starting school spring 2013 and will need a great laptop to assist me with my homework.I'm constantly on the go and need real insight from actual students not someone just looking for a sale.Any help will be truly appreciated.....a great deal of my prerequisites focus on science classes such as biology and chemistry.
