Is the laptops given at karunya university for 1st year is useful for students?.Which company laptops are they providing?.If you know the answer please respond as soon as possible.

I am a B.tech student and planning to buy a laptop...please suggest some advantages or uniqueness of laptop over a personal computer ...???...2.how it benefit for a B.tech student like me..???.. 3.do it change our life style??..if so how..??? thanks..

I would not recommend a laptop. It's only advantage is size and portability. I have one which I need for portablility, but that is really the only advantage. You sacrifice performance, reliability, and price by going with a laptop over a PC. A laptop's lifespan is far shorter than that of a PC as well. When it comes to repairing or upgrading it is way cheaper and easier to do it on a PC than a Laptop. If you need to take it places though, laptop is your only choice.
