i need a laptop with a big hard drive . i need it for photoshop, sony movie maker 8, and the sims. plus the extra space for word and power point documents. also it has to be under 500 dollars cuzthat is all i can afford right now. other requirments:
Windows Operating System:
- Windows XP SP3 (service pack 3 or higher)
OR
- Vista operating system.
AND
- Working CD drive and USB ports (or access to an external CD drive)
AND
- Minimum memory is:
o Windows XP 512 MB
OR
o Vista 1 Gigabyte
AND
- Working 802.11b or better wireless card
AND
- A minimum of a 1-gigabyte flash drive (thumb drive) for backing up student files

i need a laptop for my junior year of high school (1 online course, 3 ap classes, and Science olympiad) and i don't need the best, just something i can type, search the internet and such. should i buy online (any reliable sites?), wait for sales or what? i plan on getting a better one when i get to college.

best buy currently has a best offer of $399. hp laptop with 1 GB RAM and 180 GB hard drive. I think you can buy it from there if there is a best buy shop around there or you can buy it online at bestbuy.com
