@ G-Rat: I agree. He can get the equivalent for less money. But if reliability is a prime concern for him, HP is a terrible choice. HP laptops have the worst reliability record of all major brands over the last 2 years or so. The most reliable brands have been Asus, Toshiba, and Sony Vaio.

A refurbed Macbook as mentioned in the post above mine would be a good choice also, if you are a Mac fan. Very reliable laptops.

Im not a big gamer im just looking for a good computer with a a good word processor, wifi, a camera, and good battery life would be nice but not needed. Past that i have no other big needs.
