best laptop for pre med student image
Harrdog
Starting college this fall with a major in pre-med. Besides being able to run any software for my classes, i want to use it for gaming
Answer
If you are majoring in pre-med I would reccomend a mac. Although you won't have much free time, if you buy a macbook, you also get a free iPod. Just a little bonus. Also, mac's are safe from many viruses so documents won't get deleted, and they are fast for taking notes and everything else. They are very handy for students. Good luck. If you are going to be running alot of programs on it I would get the macbook pro.

Do any of you have advice for a Pre-Med student?

I have such a passion for children and I have wanted to be a doctor since I was 8 years old. I am going to start Pre-Med in January. My goal is to be a pediatric general surgeon. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.
I don't drink, I don't do any kind of drug and I don't go to the parties. I will not start either.
I also need good study tips. I sometimes panic during tests and forget what I studied.
Answer
Don't go to parties every weekend, know your limits. Never go out for more than 4 hours the weekend before an exam unless you think you can make a 100 on the exam with both eyes shut. Devote at least 3 hours a night to studying. If you unfortunately get a roudy roomate (like I did) go to the library as much as you can & write down your homework before you get there. Don't bring your laptop to the library so you don't get distracted by using fb, instant messaging etc. Good Luck! don't get discourages
